Attention GP&L Customers

It has come to our attention that retail electric providers (REPs) have been contacting some Garland Power & Light customers. Texas Public Utility Commission rules prohibit REPs from contacting the customers of any municipal or cooperative electric utility that has chosen not to participate in deregulation.

If you are a GP&L customer and a REP has contacted you to switch your electric service provider, you are encouraged to get the name of the REP and file a complaint with the Texas Public Utility Commission using one of the contact methods below.
