Dave Breedlove, Manager of Electric Production, has announced his retirement effective December 2000. After graduating from Texas A&M in 1964, Dave began his career in the electric utility industry at Corpus Christi, Texas with Central Power & Light.
After experiencing a few gulf coast hurricanes Dave decided a move was in order. In 1980, he came to work at Garland Power & Light as an engineer at Ray Olinger power plant. In 1983, he became Plant Superintendent overseeing both Ray Olinger and C. E. Newman power plants. Dave and his wife of 37 years Pat, plan to take an ocean cruise and do some traveling.
Ray Olinger Maintenance Administrator, Dave Bernard has been appointed interim Manager of Electric Production.
