GP&L Encourages Utility Customers to Sign Up for Automatic Bank Draft GARLAND, January 5, 2004 -- For every utility customer who has ever scrambled to find a stamp, get to the post office, or make it to the City's drive-up Customer Service window in time, Automatic Bank Draft is part revelation, part relief. GP&L has launched a campaign to enroll more customers in the company's FREE Bank Draft program, starting with a bill insert in January's utility statements. With Automatic Bank Draft, customers are ensured that their utility bill is always paid on time, plus they can save the time of writing checks and the cost of stamps by letting Automatic Bank Draft do the work of paying the monthly bill! "We're hoping to increase enrollment for the Automatic Bank Draft program," said Charlie Cooper, Customer Relations Manager. "The customers who are already enrolled really like the program.
