GP&L proudly sponsors a Teacher of the Month program. It's our way of supporting local educators who excel at what they do.

The Garland Independent School District selects the honored teacher, who is then profiled in The Dallas Morning News in an ad sponsored by GP&L. The teacher also receives a certificate and gift card from GP&L in recognition of his or her achievement.
